Yato gave a huge smile, his checks flushed on a slight crimson tone made him look like some little kid who’s given a new toy, all this time he had to work in order to get the things he wanted. His clothing for example, at first he wanted to fit in so badly he would dress up like some sort of idol - flashy t-shirts, tatty shorts, neon colored sayonaras..it was a dark time for Yato’s fashion sense - nowdays he just used a dirty jersey, sports gear and worn out pair of brown leather boots. And of course the torned makeshift scarf he was so proud off.
Holding the kunai carefully with both hands, the blue eyed God used a handkerchief to wrap it, then he placed it back on his right pocket.
“ I will take good care of it, i promise! ”
Then, grabbing the ryo with two fingers he made the coin flip, catching it in midair while listening to the ninja’s request. The answer he gave to him left the raven speechless.
“ Huh? You want me .. to be your friend? ”

 

「 ℕ」— Seeing how careful Yato was begin with the weapon really made Naruto think. He probably should have acted the same, maybe then his supply would last that bit longer. However he was more for getting a mission done, and fast so he could take another. The more completed the better. All he ever wanted to do was help others after all, to be accepted by them for who he was and not for the names he’d been called in the past. No one would dare call him the nine tailed beast, not now when he’d proved time and time again he was capable of keeping the beast back. Not that it worked all of the time, but not once had the seal been broken so surely he was doing well. 

            Snapping out of unwanted thoughts, the blond gave a nod. “Of course ‘ttebayo!” Was that such a shocking thing? “But I’m not gonna force ya, wish or not. It’s your own choice. It’s just.. I wanna be friends with everyone, and you seem like a super cool guy!” A blush was forming on his cheeks from his own admittance, a regular occurrence when he explained his intentions. “Plus, if we were friends.. I could totally give you a tour around Konoha!” So maybe he really wanted to be the God’s friend, giving more then enough temptation for him to agree to.
