Modern AU

「 ℕ」— “Sasuke, text back already!” The blond whined, spinning around on his chair before scooting back closer to his laptop. It was on, the screensaver displaying hundreds of bubbles that amused him for hours on end, and often distracted him from homework on school nights. It being a Saturday, homework was the last of his worries. But that was soon replaced by the annoyance of his friend not responding. They were to meet with Sakura, Hinata and Ino that night, to be dragged to yet another party. Friend of a friend sort of ordeal. Naruto had little interest, but it being Sakura, he couldn’t say no. The pinkette was practically his sister at this stage, the two having grown up together. 

            “If he doesn’t text back in five.. four.. three.. Dammit teme, I have to get ready!” Grabbing the device he tossed it onto his bed and started to rummage through pile upon pile of clothes, trying to find something decent enough. Nothing too fancy whilst ensuring he wasn’t under dressed. Eventually he settled on a pair of dark jeans, a white shirt depicting a bowl of ramen, a type of clothing manufacturer that was the blond’s favorite, and an orange hoodie. Once dressed he dove onto the bed and grabbed his phone once more, flicking the ramen styled phone strap out of the way and opening his inbox. Still nothing. 

              So with an annoyed groan, he called, swinging his legs behind him as he awaited the other to pick up. No way was he going to be late because the raven didn’t know the meaning of answer!
